Elytus Ltd. was founded in late 2006 by professionals from the software, information technology and solid waste industries. The principals of Elytus identified a need for technology and information exchange between vendors of solid waste services and chain operators with larger, more national accounts. Through the application of web-based software architecture Elytus was able to develop a comprehensive software suite, WInStream, for the environmental management sector.

As of late, sustainability has become one of the hottest topics in our world today. Through dedicated research and strategic academic relationships, Elytus was able to adapt WInStream to accommodate the sustainability needs of its clients. With information being one of the biggest aspects of sustainability it just made sense for Elytus to provide web-based platforms to keep everyone on the same page.

In late 2009, Elytus released its first version of WInStream|RFP. With a list of several thousand service vendors and smart decision making technology, WInStream|RFP enables chain operators to procure their own waste and recycling services. With this exciting addition, Elytus now has the complete web-based software solution for environmental management from procurement to payment.

Today, Elytus Ltd. is a leading Saas (Software – as – a – Service) provider for environmental sustainability, solid waste and recycling with just over 7000 commercial locations being tracked and managed using WInStream on a daily basis.
